Law creates organized life and regulations. But sometimes, it creates fun too. We have collected some of the fun facts about the law from the history.
Once, entire Netherlands was condemned to death by The Spanish Inquisition for hearsay.
In seventeenth century, no Japanese was allowed to leave the country on penalty of death.
If anyone was cough breaking the rule, was executed immediately.
In Prussia, behaving with a telephone operator in a rude manner was crime.
For so many years, the secret of sericulture was guarded by Chinese zealously.
During the First World War, if anyone found guilty of being homosexual, he used to be punished by execution.
In England, there was a time, when Christmas celebration used to be illegal.

Ever heard that an umpire was fined ever? Well, that happened in the first game of baseball. The umpire was fined because of swearing.
Once, it was illegal to take a bath without the prescription of a doctor. The place was Boston and time was 1845.
In Washington, it was illegal for a female dancer to take more than 3 steps backwards.
